Amanda Alvear was a pharmacy tech from Polk county who was very close with her family. In the last couple of years she had undergone a dramatic transformation losing 180 pounds with the help of gastric bypass surgery and exercise. She had been enjoying her new found sense of self and documented her transformation with her phone. Her brother Brian said this of Amanda: “She wouldn’t want anyone to spread hate for her, she’d rather they spread more love, keep friends and family close and have a good time doing it.”
