Eric Ivan Ortiz-Rivera, originally from Puerto Rico moved to Florida in 2007 for a chance to better his life and help his family. He was a merchandise manager at several retail stores. He died just days away from his 1st wedding anniversary to Ivan Dominguez who was not with him at Pulse that night. Dominguez said he could feel his husbands spirit comforting him and helping him go through all this.
